Originally from Orange County, Susan Andretta-Ryberg relocated to Pleasanton two years ago after her husband Mike secured employment in the East Bay. She enjoys all the activities afforded by living in Pleasanton, especially the close knit community. She is a mother of two; her son Eric is a special education teacher that lives in Marietta, Georgia with his wife, and her daughter Chelsea graduated this past June and is now putting it to good use with a company in San Diego. Mrs. Ryberg also has three step children and two grand babies. Both her and her husband are proud that four out of the five children between them are college graduates, and the last is set to graduate next year.
In her free time, Mrs. Ryberg enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, hiking, working on stained glass projects, reading, and playing with her dog and cat: Bandit and Bella. Mrs. Ryberg holds two Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Human Development from California State University San Bernardino, a Master’s Degree in Special Education, and PPS in School Psychology from California State University Long Beach. She has been a school psychologist for 14 years.
