Gable Heart Beats is a Bay Area non-profit whose mission is to save lives by preventing sudden cardiac arrest. GHB sponsors heart screenings for youth and young adults that include both an EKG and Echocardiogram. GHB also donates AEDs (automated external defibrillators) to schools, gyms, sport fields, and communities. Volunteers Matteo Gable and Grace Gable help raise heart awareness to save lives of others in honor of their dad, Michael Gable.
"We're honored to serve the Pleasanton community and provide AEDs where they're needed to possibly help prevent a tragedy from happening. We have been able to provide AEDs to 7 schools around the city of Pleasanton and we are happy we could assist Lydiksen Elementary in their need for one on campus."
