May 21, 2021
Hello, Lydiksen families -
Starting next week, Lydiksen will be collecting all Chromebooks that are on loan to our students so we can inventory and repair the Chromebooks for use in the upcoming 2021-22 school year.
Families who no longer need a hotspot should return the hotspot to Lydiksen as well. PUSD elementary schools are expected to open for traditional in-person teaching and learning in August 2021. If you do not believe your child will be participating in the Pleasanton Virtual Academy as a remote learner or that your student will need a hotspot in order to participate in any PUSD summer programs, please return any hotspots that may have been issued to your family during the Chromebook collection time.
The Chromebook collection schedule for Lydiksen students is:
- Thursday, May 27: In-person PM students should return their Chromebooks, hotspots, Chromebook sleeves, and chargers at the end of the school day.
- Friday, May 28th: In-person AM students should return their Chromebooks, hotspots, Chromebook sleeves, and chargers at the end of the school day.
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, June 1-3: Remote students and any remaining in-person students can drop off their Chromebooks, hotspots, Chromebook sleeves, and chargers in the Lydiksen multipurpose room 8-10 a.m. and 12-2 p.m.
When sending the Chromebook to school with your child next week or dropping off the Chromebook the following week, please remember the Chromebook sleeve and charger as families will be charged a fee for any missing chargers. If your student and/or family is not able to be at Lydiksen on these dates, please return these items to the school as soon as possible.
If you have any questions, please contact the school office at 925-426-4420. Thanks for your help in returning these important devices to our school!
